A super cute bubbly young woman comes in with some acquaintances of mine.. She wants to take a quick sec to browse the racks before brunch… We put her into a few Rick Owens contraptions, and have a lot of fun trying to figure out this particular romper… Instead, she goes for the silver Balenciaga jacket, lined in electric blue! amazing! I of course had no idea she was “someone” when introduced to her and her husband. But, i did a little google and there you go! Lynn Collins.. I remember her mainly from (as i whisper, it was on Demand) X-MEN, Wolverine! She was Hugh Jackman’s lady! She’s also been in True Blood and a whole list of other things.. Her hubby is also a actor.. Just to jog your memory, here are some pics.. Super nice she was.. i love that. and the one time I don’t snap a photo!

Our lovely protegee’ CATERINA GATTA will show in Milan Fashion Week!! And some of her pieces will be back by popular demand in our store for Spring. Prints are everywhere, but Caterina with her Fashion History knowledge, could not have settled for any of the new prints from Italian famous mills. Instead she opted by picking fantastic and hard to find printed fabrics from their archives. She managed to score YSL,Valentino, Lancetti, Laroche, silk prints and jaquards and translated them into simple flattering shapes avoiding the “matronly” effect. Few days ago www.wwd.com nominated her as one of the new talents to watch in Italy’s fashion scene!!
