OK, so Kristiina Wilson (not to be confused with our mannequin), brought in her D.C. Parents to adventure through the racks of “couture”. She was holding out for presents… I think she was disappointed.. They know her tricks.. “This is Boudicca, My favorite designer”… Oh nice sweetie, but here is KENZO, sorta like Meri Mekko (sp?)… What’s a goth girl gotta do! Listen, I have a business, I’m married, I rescue cats, I don’t have a tear on my cheek painted with eyeliner anymore! I haven’t bought any Cure tapes since KISS ME KISS ME KISS ME!! C’mon…..Unaffected they were.. Mr. Wilson said as he left, after my suggestion he show his daughter love through consumerism, He said “Been there, done that!”.. Sorry KW… I tried..
Boudicca’s fragrance WODE has arrived and is flying off our little shelf. I’ve been spraying the tester on my arm every hour. Everyone loves it, myself included evidentally! Also some beautiful Galliano pieces, silk dresses and a amazing knitted mohair coat/cardigan. More Softcore pieces are on the way. They are the runaway hit. pieces by McCartney, 1 Balenciaga blouse in silk (grab it while you can). Carolina Damas has created more hair pieces from vintage beads.. And jewelry from Maria Zureta. This designer re-configures old jewelry into amazing modern one-of-a-kind pieces. More Boudicca Apparel arriving (hopefully by this coming weekend). Stay tuned!
December Arrivals!
It’s a beautiful Sunday afternoon, the cups are disposed of, bottles recycled.. And I’m going through pictures of last night’s event which was SO MUCH fun.. We met so many new people, as well as a lot of Change of Season “family members”.. And I got to see favorite people in my favorite pieces, Boudicca. The enthusiasm was really wonderful!
