Dear “Change of Season” followers,..Milano Men’s Shows are in full swing,..we have been lucky enough to attend some and we have already picked our favorites. One thing for sure is that next Winter we need to go back to our closets and bring back all the BLACK clothes we have owned in the past! Some may have been donated to the the Salvation Army,..but still worth to take a look and maybe buy new fitted pants,turtlenecks,leather coats and jackets for a Total Black Look. On the other hand if you are not a fan of that sharp, Blade Runner look (seen at Jil Sander),you can always have fun in dressing up like a turn of the century Banker or a sophisticated Dandy that lounges at home in his decadent but fitted  robe (see Prada),…more to come from mIlano,and mostly Paris….

Vivienne Westwood showed a mini capsule collection for Yoox.com, Ethical Fashion Africa Collection. Our personal Editor-at-Large, Laura Tortoli was there to capture some pics from the event!! She was wearing a original coat from Vivienne’s ’84 Clint Eastwood Collection that she acquired at Relic in London.. Amazing coat! And filled my ear full of great stories of London in the 80′s.. Looking at her now, I imagined her in the 80′s with that sort of Derek Jarman/JUBILEE look.. Pic included.  She has everything, but LOVED the Maria Zureta necklace with the cluster of silver spoons.. Their store, Fab 208 is on 7th street btw 1st & 2nd, and is supposedly pink with big spots.. You probably won’t be able to miss it.. She takes vintage clothes and re-configures them into new creations.. She also rescues PUGS!
